A So-So Ho Ho

It’s been quite the year, hasn’t it? Is there anyone who isn’t eager to see it end?

Like many folks, I’ve mostly stuck close to home this past year. All those trips to explore new towns and areas of Vancouver Island got put on hold. (As I wrote in my previous post, I did manage to hit the beach a few times—those were welcome outings.) Like everyone, I’m looking forward to more freedom next year (fingers crossed). There are so many places on this beautiful island I want to explore and share with you.

Until then…

I hope you enjoy some ho! ho! ho! this holiday season. It may not be the Christmas we’re used to or were wishing for, with dear family and friends absent this year—“I’ll Be Home for Christmas” has never sounded more poignant—but this is a time worth celebrating. Goodness knows we need some joy in our lives, however and wherever we can find it.

Let’s hope 2021 is a happier and healthier year for us all.

Merry Christmas!
